Latest Headlines Friday, January 27th, 2012MORGANTOWN —State Director Bobby Lewis has announced that USDA Rural Development approved a Community Facilities Direct Loan in the amount of $1,400,000 for Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc., Morgan County, W.Va.
Rural Development funds will be used to purchase the former corporate headquarters building of U.S. Silica on the north end of Berkeley Springs.
The facility will be used for a senior center and main office for the Senior Life Services of Morgan County.
Rural Development serves as the lead Federal entity for rural development needs and administers program assistance through its housing, business, community and infrastructure programs.
