ROMNEY — The Capon Bridge Public Library and the Hampshire County Public Library are offering downloads of books on electronic book reading devices such as Kindles free of charge.

“People can come in any time and we will help get them set up,” said Lindsay Brill, assistant librarian.

Participants need to have a library card from the Capon Bridge library in order to get a book downloaded.

“They check them out just like they would a regular book,” Brill said.

Books can be downloaded from the Hampshire County Public Library in Romney where the same conditions apply.

In order to download books participants must have a library card from HCPL.

For more information call the Capon Bridge Public Library at 304-856-3777 or the Hampshire County Public Library at 304-822-3185.
