Arson charged in 5 fires AUGUSTA — Police say two Hampshire County men were arrested last Thursday, July 2, in connection with a series of reported arsons in the Augusta area. According to Capt. John Eckerson of the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Department, Brian Davis, 20, and Andrew Howard, also 20, both of Augusta, were arrested for their alleged roles in five separate fires set throughout the month of June.
